Our Fabrics
Fabric is where every Saanjh piece begins.
We work with a limited set of textiles chosen for how they are made, not how they trend.
Laal Ikat Fabric
Laal Ikat is produced by tying and dyeing cotton yarns before weaving, so the tied areas resist the dye and create organic, blurred patterns once woven.
The red tones and rhythmic geometric motifs express the raw beauty of traditional resist-dye techniques. Irregular patterns and handcrafted imperfections make each fabric distinctive and sustainable.
Hara Ikat Fabric
Hara Ikat is made by tying and dyeing cotton yarns before weaving. The tied sections resist the dye, creating soft, blurred patterns once the fabric is woven.
The rhythmic geometric motifs emerge naturally through this resist-dye process. Irregularities and handcrafted variations are inherent, making each piece unique, sustainable, and rich in artisanal character.
Neel Ikat Fabric
Neel Ikat is created by tying and dyeing cotton yarns before weaving, allowing certain sections to resist the dye and form soft, blurred patterns in the final fabric.
The deep blue tones and rhythmic geometric motifs reflect traditional resist-dye techniques. Natural variations and imperfections are part of the process, giving each fabric its own identity.
Ivory Dune Jacquard Fabric
This jacquard fabric is woven on a specialized loom where Toda embroidery–inspired motifs are built directly into the structure of the fabric using beige threadwork.
The design is not applied afterward but formed during weaving, resulting in a subtle textured surface that reflects precision, restraint, and craftsmanship.
